ABOUT THE PARK
Nyerere National Park is officially Tanzania and Africa Largest National Park located in the Southern part of Tanzania covers the Area of 54,600 km². It was officially changed from Selous Game reserve and became a National park in Nov 2019. The name was given as a sign of honoring the first president of Tanzania late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere. The park is best Destination to experience the wildlife in which you can see larger groups of elephants, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, birds and different species of reptiles. It’s a place also to experience the life and activities of local people who live outside the park.
